Tim began his career in the healthcare industry in 1994 after working in public and industry accounting for several years. In healthcare, he has served in a variety of valuation and transaction advisory roles, with a focus on physician-related transactions and determining fair market value (FMV) for regulatory compliance purposes. His healthcare industry experience includes more than 14 years with the Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) where he designed and managed HCA’s FMV compliance program for outside valuations as part of the company’s corporate integrity agreement (CIA) with the U.S. Government. He also negotiated physician practice acquisition and divestiture transactions, performed transactional due diligence, and held the designation of an ethics and compliance officer. In addition, his HCA experience included significant involvement in reviewing and drafting transaction agreements and documents.
