Business Intelligence Analysis
TSHC offers business intelligence analysis services that provide a factual economic basis for business planning, negotiation, and valuation purposes. Our business intelligence analyses or “BIAs” focus on key financial and operational drivers for a subject business service arrangement. Our BIAs create data-driven and evidence-based foundations for business negotiations, allowing for transparency between the parties as to the reality of the facts and circumstances. They also factualize the inputs to valuation methods, resulting in highly reliable and credible opinions of value. Examples of BIA services include:
Loss sourcing analysis for physician practice losses that factually identify and quantify the factors contributing to these losses
Case volume and uncompensated care analysis for hospital or facility call coverage arrangements
Subsidy analysis for hospital department or service line coverage arrangements
“Black box” payer rate analysis estimating the impact of a buyer’s commercial rates on reimbursement for a health provider entity
Our BIAs are not designed, nor do they develop, opinions or conclusions of value. They may be used, however, as source data in valuation methods for developing FMV opinions, whether by TSHC or another valuation firm.
